Style and Personality[edit]
Kills at least 50 trees per semester with photocopies. We have received at least 100 pages worth of handouts this semester. Has a very strange personality, sort of a creepy old guy thing. Easy B, fairly hard A. He gives B's on pretty much everything unless it's exceptional. More papers in his 112 class than any of the other 112 classes. We had 4 other papers other than the research paper, all full length (read: not 1-2 page stuff). Enjoys singing in class. He has a lot of quirky things about him. Office has approximately 10 file cabinents and 4 bookshelfs, it looks like some storage room with a desk in it. Smells funny as well.
Student Opinions[edit]
Kyle Gruber - Dr. Loomis is a very... Interesting individual. He's a pretty easy A if you follow directions and work on your essays for enough time. He's kind of weird in class, but don't let that get to you. It's still kind of a fun class. If you're an attractive girl, don't sit in the front of the class. He may sing to you and make you VERY uncomfortable. Don't work ahead on an essay that isn't due for a while, because he is VERY likely to change the syllabus, normally making the essay easier.
