Prerequisite: English 10-111

What Really Happens[edit]
Like 111, you don't really learn anything new in this class. You're exposed to articles with political or (slightly) sexual bents, reflecting an added semester's worth of maturity. (This is excellent preparation for real life, where there are both politics and sex in abundance.)
The class is pretty much the same thing as English 111, except for the research paper. The research paper is typically on a topic of your choosing. However, since you don't actually learn writing techniques, papers as a rule are simultaneously vitriolic and bland, which makes for exciting peer-editing days.
