Dr. Edward Farquhar served as the interim dean of the Missouri Academy following Dr. Pinizzotto's dismissal and pending the selection of a replacement. While he made little impression on the student body of the academy, things seemed to run fairly smoothly during his term. He was replaced in February 2004 by Dr. Cleopas Samudzi.
Dr. Farquhar also teaches one General Chemistry II section in Garrett-Strong (see Campus Travel Guide).
