Hi, I'm Kristin Penn, and I graduated from the Missouri Academy as a member of the Voyager class in 2006. I am now a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I'm majoring in Nursing. I plan on obtaining a BSN, MSN, and possibly a Doctorate in Nursing. I hope to become licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist within the next five years. My plans never work out the way I expect them to, though, so we'll see...

Looking back, my time at the Academy was a time of great growth for me. I learned to push myself when things got hard (and they did), and I learned how to accept personal failure. I was lucky to take away some very important friendships that I feel fairly certain will be around for a long time.
