In addition, I bless you (a great honor, by the way) for not choosing Intel. My video card (Radeon 9600) is great and handles most modern games with ease. High settings if not highest. However, I hear that nVidia has much better Linux support, and I applaud them for that. I don't know much at all about their geforce line, but Jay might. Try looking at various hardware review sites (Tom's Hardware, AnandTech) for more information. They usually have a detailed description, plus several charts of benchmarks with comparable cards. ATi performs well, but since Linux support is important to me, I might be moving to nVidia with my next purchase. Hope that helps. - [[User:Chad|Chad]]
