My name is Michael Charles Jelavich and I am a discoverer at the Missouri Academy. I am interested in studying different languages, cultures, and the various theologies and philosophies of the world. I know very few programming languages, yet I try to be somewhat computer savy.

Hobbies

Some of my hobbies include doing various mathematical problems, especialy geometric problems involving calculus (I love geometry); yellling at my craptop computer (I run a dual boot of XP Pro and Ubuntu); doing jigsaw puzzles; and reading biographies, non-fiction scientific books, and about new clinical trials in magazines or online.

Interests

Some of my interests are mathematics, medicine, and current events (especially those involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict). I am also interested in GNU/Linux, especially programs designed for Debian and some of its children OSes like Ubuntu.

The Future

This fall I will be attending the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine where I will recieve both a BA in chemistry and a MD in six years. My aspirations for the future are to become a Medical Doctor, become a professor of medicine, and to work for some institution like the NIH or the CDC. My ultimate goals in life are to advance our society in a positive way and to find the meaning of life.
