Introduction to American Government and Politics (34-102)

Style & personality[edit]

Mr. Smith's personal interest is the judiciary. As such, his version of 34-102 focuses proportionally more on civil rights, civil liberties, and the decisions rendered by the United States Supreme Court. His exams will often present a situation about which you will have to discuss the relevant civil rights (e.g.: Police chase a fleeing suspect into a house and while in pursuit they find that the house is being used to grow a large number of cannabis plants. Are the police allowed to press charges against the homeowner for being a marijuana supplier?).
