Margaret Sebastion has been Residential Counselor of 2nd Floor East since 2009.
About[edit]
Margaret is a Chicago native, with a History and Leadership Studies degree from Blackburn College. For four years, she served inner city high school students at By The Hand Club for Kids, a non-profit afterschool program. There she focused on developing youth educationally, physically and spiritually. During that time, she took classes at North Park Theological Seminary in Youth Ministry and completed the DeVos Urban Leadership Training Program for nationwide youth leaders.
Last year, Margaret served at Trinity Christian College as a Residence Director of an upper class dorm. While there, she volunteered at her church in various leadership capacities using her gifts in administration, music and speaking. This year, employment at the Missouri Academy will allow her to pursue her "dream job": working in a living and learning environment with high school students.
Margaret is an avid Boston Celtics fan, and in her spare time loves singing, reading and dancing.
