The Guardians are the class of 2012.
guardian [gahr-dee-uhn] noun
- 1. a person who guards, protects, or preserves.
- 2. Law. a person who is entrusted by law with the care of the person or property, or both, of another, as a minor or someone legally incapable of managing his or her own affairs
- 3. the superior of a Franciscan convent.

Of the Guardian class, 25 of the 78 have departed the Academy. The Guardians began with 77 members, but gained one "half-year" student after the first semester. Their current retention rate is 66.6%.
