ALF was the wing name of Second East during the 2003-2004 (Explorers/Discoverers) school year. It is a recursive acronym meaning AF2UAC Lives Forever, although ostensibly it stood for Awesomely Leet Freaks, as reuse of old wing names is prohibited. Like its predecessor, confusion remains as to the actual meaning, as the A may also have stood for Amazingly.

The wing flag for ALF was a burning thatched roof cottage, in referrence to the pop-culture hit Trogdor the Burninator, drawn by Neal Davis, and surrounded by green and orange borders. This cottage has become, like the name AF2UAC, a legacy, and is also featured in the Gandalf wing flag.
