About Me

I am Aaron Baker. A lot of the times, I am called by some type of derivation from the name Stuart. I am in the Discoverer class, class of 2005. I am interested in biology, mathematics, education policy/reform, and politics. I hope to become a international/traveling Radiologist. If that plan does not succeed, I want to go into either education reform in the United States or become a diplomat. I am pretty computer stupid, but I am trying to learn how to use Linux. I was the first Vice President of External Affairs for the SGA at the Acad. I like to play the piano and sing. I have recently started liking crocheting... though I only like doing hats. I have applied at Brown University (rejected), Washington University (waitlisted), University of Washington (accepted), Truman State University (accepted), and Northwest Missouri State University (attending). One of my favorite movies is Donnie Darko and I love the Beatles. I have also recently started liking the All American Rejects and The Academy Is. Of course, I am a big fan of the OC, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Grey's Anatomy. Also, I want to get the Box Sets of Boy Meets World.

College

I am attending Northwest Missouri State University. I am a Presidential Scholar and the Student Regent for Northwest until December 2007. I plan on graduating Spring 2008. I have been the National Communications Coordinator for Residence Hall Association, an on-campus representative, and the Civic Service chair for Student Senate while at Northwest. Over this next summer, I will be going to Mexico for my Contemporary Mexico class and taking Theatre Appreciation and General Economics (both online). In the fall I am planning on taking 15 hours:

  • General Biochemistry with Lab,
  • Cellular Biology with Lab,
  • State and Local Government, and
  • Comparative Government

Classes I have already taken include:

  • Advanced Spanish II,
  • American Presidency,
  • Organic Chemistry II with Lab,
