Trogdor is a creation of the folks at Homestar Runner, first introduced through Strong Bad email 58. Officially titled "TROGDOR the BURNiNATOR", Trogdor is known for burninating the countryside, the peasants, and the peoples in the thatched roof cottages.
The high nerd population of the Academy ensures that almost all students knew of this email, and it was rather popular (more so previously than now). As a result the ALF flag featured a burning thatched roof cottage, in referrence to the short animation that follows the aforementioned Strong Bad email.
