Hello, my name is Hunter and I will be attending the Missouri Academy this Fall('08). So, I'm really excited and decided it would be a good idea to get acquainted with those who are already attending. So if you feel like talking or whatever, just answer this "question". Tell me about yourself, what you like to do, what your favorite thing about the Academy is, etc.

Wiki Problems

Hello.

My name is Drew, as Mike N. knows. And I was wondering how you managed to get the Monobook style up and running on this wiki. I have my own wiki at http://sciwiki.ath.cx and have been trying for a month. Thanks.

It just worked by defalut, when i tried installing mediawiki on my localhost it wouldnt let me use it either, though. I think it might be because of a conflict in php5, you might try downgrading to version 4 and see if that works. My local box is set up much like yours, gentoo, php5.0.3, apache2, but i dont have perl enabled. I put a phpinfo() script at http://moacad.com/info.php if you want to check out the specifics of this server. --Andy 17:35, 4 Jan 2005 (EST)

Inconsistent naming scheme

I can't seem to find the rules for the page naming scheme anywhere. Does one exist? The problem is that some page titles have every word capitalized (even non-proper words) and some just have the first word capitalized. Should we assimilate the latter group into the former by capitalizing every word, or vice versa? Or just leave it how it is? - Mpnolan 20:25, 4 Jul 2005 (EDT)

There are no 'rules', and we don't (as a whole) follow any particular convention. Myself, I use the style typical in book titles: Capitalize everything unless it's a short word like articles and prepositions under 4 letters. -Chrax
