Dr. Michael Hobbs

Dr. Hobbs used to introduce himself "I like to run and I like beer", but seems to have adjusted to having a class composed of minors. He specifically picks literature he feels will invite conversation and discussion, especially involving gender issues. During the academic year 2004 - 2005, Dr. Hobbs was the Faculty Senate President. This year (2005-2006), Dr. Hobbs became the Department Chair of the English department.
