Every year the Academy has found a speaker from the outside world to enlighten the graduating class in the ways of the world. For the first several classes an at least mildly interesting speaker was commissioned, though the class of 2004 got talked at by Richard Leet, a Northwest alumn.
Dr. Robert Krumlauf has been selected as the 2005 graduation speaker.
Mike Nolan has suggested [paulgraham.com/hs.html Paul Graham] as a 2006 candidate.
