That's not entirely accurate. You can sign out and go places (either by walking or getting an RC to drive you), and people have been known to leave without permission. The real trick is not advertising that you're leaving campus. -Chrax

Heh, I just went ahead and inverted study hours and free time, meaning that 2- to 4-hour break periods are the only time I study. If that much. If you have an obsession with scoring a 4.0, then you might find yourself studying all of the time. But if you are fine getting a GPA in the range 3.2-3.6, mild studying will probably suffice. - Mpnolan 18:26, 20 Jun 2005 (EDT)

Personaly, I found myself with an abundance of free time, which I filled mostly with video games. Schedules really aren't that bad; your classes are scattered throughout the day, so you get breaks between them. By the way, the stuff they tell you about having two hours of homework for every hour of class is almost always utter nonsense. Day-to-day homework largely depends on your math teacher (you'll probably want Euler). After classes it's quite possible to ride across town and have plenty of time to spend there, provided you have the motivation. It seems like that's usually the deterrent. As for study hours, don't worry too much. Quite often I found myself with nothing to do, so that's what I did. Don't tell anyone I said that. - Chad 16:29, 6 Jul 2005 (EDT)

I can definitely attest to math taking all your time. Precalc with Shepard took up about 98% of study time. -Squishypickle

And as for getting off campus many people dont. There is not a huge amount of free time but enough so that u could go shopping on the square (maybe 5 minutes) or go out to eat somewhere. Getting off campus is extremely easy. Also the guys will prolly ride our bikes to walmart every once in a while to pick up supplys and you could come with us. provided that is that u can keep up. Jobs are a little tougher. You could do what i do and just call your boss ahead of time and let them know that u are gonna be in town at such time and if u could get on the schedule. I advise getting a job where u can make tips, that way u get ur paid the moment u leave work and the busiest days you will work are those that u come home. -*Jon
