Seminar on You and Your Community (81-102)
This seminar will explore academic skills that help the student to be academically successful. The students will also discuss living in, and contributing to, the community in which they live.

Overview[edit]

Sit around and talk and vent. Perhaps do a bit of homework until your seminar leader gets sick of it.

What really happens[edit]

When you start your first year, you are assigned to a seminar instructor (including Residential Counselors and other staff members). You will be involved in activities designed to acclimate you to Academy and campus life. The difficulty and expectation level will vary depending on your instructor. You will write 4 STEM papers throughout the year, two per semester.

In May session, you begin doing college application activities with Cleo and Diana. These are generally useless, but we suggest avoiding requests for punishment should you not follow instructions.
