Classes taught[edit]

Style & personality[edit]

Dr. Dieringer teaches everything straight from his powerpoints which he puts on his eCompanion. All points come straight from all the tests. There are 5 tests including the final, 25 points of attendance credit (5 points taken randomly through out semester), plus an easy assesment test after the final. Test questions come directly from quizzes put out by the book company. He lets you drop your lowest test score of the five (but not the final exam, which only is about the material covered since the last exam). As of fall semester 2006, there are 50 points of extra credit (5 articles with quizzes worth 10 points each) on his eCompanion as well. He is a really easy teacher as long as you know the material. --

Student Opinions[edit]

Dr. Dieringer is probably one of the most boring professors on campus. He laughs at himself a lot over jokes that no one else understands. His class is ridiculously easy because all of his test questions come straight off the book's online practice quizzes, word for word. The hardest test is the botany test, because he is a botanist and wants his students to know plants the most. Many academy kids skip his class a lot because he doesn't know we are required to go to class. As long as you know the practice quizzes, you are guarenteed a good grade. --Brad

My favorite quote from Dr. Dieringer... "I hate my life!"... long story... ask sometime! :P -- Brianna
